From their line of specialty cocktails, I tried the Orange Crush. Made with freshly squeezed orange juice, Triple Sec, and a splash of lemon-lime soda, this drink is perfect for a hot summer day. It’s cold, refreshing, and definitely hits the spot!
The first dish I tried from their Raw Bar menu was the Clams Casino. Local Florida clams are topped with bell peppers, onions, butter, bacon, and herb-seasoned bread crumbs, then baked until golden brown. This classic dish was delicious, especially with a quick squeeze of lemon over the top.
For my entrée, I selected the Grilled Shrimp Skewers. Eight large shrimp are placed on skewers and grilled. While there were several flavor options, I opted for the Angry Lemon seasoning. This seasoning delivered a bold lemon and herb flavor that was both zesty and delicious.
With a tropical paradise like Capt Hiram’s Resort, only one dessert choice felt right: the house-made Key Lime pie! It was cold, refreshing, and bursting with the tangy key lime flavor. An excellent choice to conclude my meal!
