This was my first time at Blue Agave, and I instantly loved the fun, laid-back atmosphere. I enjoyed it so much that I went back later that week for a friend’s birthday dinner! Whether you’re dining inside or grabbing a seat at the bar, you’re in for a great experience. The bartenders keep the energy high, making sure every guest has a great time.

This standout cocktail—easily my favorite margarita ever—balances the crispness of cucumber with the sweetness of watermelon and the smoothness of tequila. Light, revitalizing, and the perfect complement to any dish, it’s a must-try. And if you really want to indulge, they even offer a jumbo-sized option!
Chicken Tortilla Soup
The perfect way to start the meal, this soup featured a deep, flavorful broth packed with tender shredded chicken, crispy tortilla strips, fresh avocado, and a hint of lime. Warm, comforting, and with just the right level of spice, it was exactly what we needed on a rainy day—the ultimate comfort dish.
Short Rib Beef Taquitos
These crispy, golden taquitos were served with a rich and savory short rib dipping sauce, where the tender, slow-cooked meat blended seamlessly into every bite. Topped with fresh herbs and sliced jalapeños, they offered the perfect balance of bold flavor, freshness, and heat. This was my favorite!
Mexican Elote Street Corn
A must-try classic, this grilled corn was coated in a creamy, tangy sauce with crumbled cheese and a dusting of spices. The combination of smoky, sweet, and savory flavors made for an unforgettable side dish.
Cilantro Chicken & Shrimp
Juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled to perfection, this dish showcased the kitchen’s dedication to fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Served with traditional accompaniments like rice and beans, it was both hearty and satisfying. The addition of shrimp took it to the next level, adding a delicious, succulent bite that made this dish an absolute must-try!
Key Lime Pie
We ended the meal on a high note with a homemade Key Lime Pie, crafted by Dawn, the wife of owner Steve. Hands down, the best key lime pie—no need to travel to the Keys when the best is right here in Vero Beach! Creamy, tart, and nestled in a buttery Graham cracker crust, it struck the perfect balance between sweet and tangy. I’ll be dreaming of this until my next visit!
