Owned by a family from Chihuahua and Colima, this restaurant celebrates the culinary traditions of Northern and Central Mexico with a modern twist. Since its founding in 2020, Fiesta Azul Tequila House has become a vibrant destination for sports fans and margarita lovers alike.
If you’re feeling hungry after a day of shopping, you’re in luck. The Melbourne, Florida location is just a 3-minute drive from the Melbourne Square Mall. Look for the agave logo at the side and front entrances. Make your way inside and you’ll be met with a friendly host and quick seating.
The restaurant features two distinct levels: the lower level offers spacious seating for groups, while the upper level highlights a vibrant backlit bar with multicolored lights and screens showcasing the latest games. Outdoor seating is also available, offering a charming option to enjoy your meal in the fresh air.
Within minutes, our waiter Gabriel brought complimentary chips and red salsa along with waters. We started with the Table Side Guacamole, a must-have every time I visit. I chose all the fixings—red onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime. The guacamole was bright and perfectly balanced, with a hint of lime and freshness from the cilantro. It was a generous portion for two people and could easily satisfy a group of four or five.
The guacamole paired beautifully with my house margarita, served on the rocks with a vibrant blue salt rim and garnished with a dried orange and lime wedge. It was strong with just the right amount of sweetness and tang. While their menu offers a wide selection of margaritas and cocktails, I believe a great Mexican restaurant shines with a classic margarita—and Fiesta Azul Tequila House delivers.
When our entrées arrived, the aroma of freshly prepared meats and warm spices filled the air. I ordered the Birria Tacos and the Burrito Al Pastor. The Birria Tacos were served piping hot, accompanied by a rich consommé for dipping, along with rice and beans. The tacos were juicy, with cheese pulling perfectly as I bit into them. The consommé, a flavorful beef broth, added a delicious depth of spice.
The standout dish of my meal was the Burrito Al Pastor, a generously sized portion topped with a mild, tangy sour cream sauce and charred pineapple. The tender, savory pork inside paired wonderfully with the pineapple’s sweetness. Each bite was a delightful combination of authentic Mexican flavors and complementary textures. I’ll be ordering this dish again on my next visit.
To end the meal, I indulged in the Fuego Pineapple Upside Cake. The moist, warm cake was topped with delicate cinnamon vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. It was the perfect-sized dessert after such a satisfying meal.
