Foodie Tour – Frequently Asked Questions

What restaurants will we visit on the food tour? We have a relationship with many local restaurants, but depending on the time of day, and factoring in things beyond our control, we do not guarantee what restaurants will be featured on the tour.

How much food is served on the tour? Each restaurant will provide a sampling of dishes from their menu. Since we are visiting several different locations, you will be full by the end of the tour!

How long do the tours last? Our tours are 3 – 4 hours in length, depending on how many restaurants we visit. We try to allow as much time as possible at each restaurant for you to relax and enjoy the food at each place we visit.

How much walking is involved? We utilize a 15-passenger van for transportation between restaurants because those featured on the tour are not within walking distance from each other, so there will be minimal walking involved.

How do we get to each restaurant? You drive your car or Uber to the first restaurant on our tour. For each additional stop, we will transport you via a 15-passenger van. You must be able bodied enough to step up and into our van and be within close proximity to other tour guests for up to 15 – 30 minutes during transport to the next and subsequent restaurant locations. If you drove your car to the tour, we will transport you back to the starting point when the tour is complete. If you are disabled and unable to get into our van, you are welcome to have someone drive you to each subsequent restaurant stop on the tour. We run a tight schedule, so if you chose to drive yourself, you may miss part of the tour due to the extra time it will take you to park and join up with the tour group.

I have a dietary restriction, can I still participate on the tour? We are unable to accommodate any food allergies or other dietary restrictions on our tours. Please note that foods served on our tours is at the sole discretion of the restaurants and may contain milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten, and soy.

Are gratuities included with my ticket? Yes, your ticket is all inclusive and includes tax and tip for the food at the restaurants. If you had a great time, a little extra tip for your tour guide(s) is always appreciated!

Do you still run the tour if it’s raining? Yes, our tours run rain or shine. You will be inside for the majority of the time, and in our van as we transport you to the next location. Please check the weather, plan and dress appropriately. We will assist guests with umbrellas as needed to get from the van into the restaurant and vice versa.

What happens if I arrive late for the tour? We have a tight schedule to keep, and we will not be able to wait for you when we are ready to depart to the next location. Because we are traveling by van transportation to all remaining locations (and back to the starting point to get your car if you drove there), if you don’t make it before we depart, you have the option to catch up with the tour and drive yourself to next and all remaining locations to meet up with the group. Please contact your tour guide via text with the phone number provided in the email you received with the tour schedule.

What is your cancellation policy? We do not offer refunds or rescheduling to another date for tickets purchased for sold out tours. Once purchased, that guarantees your spot, and we make arrangements with the restaurants for a set number of guests and food to prepare. Our tours must sell out (13 guests) in order to conduct a tour. If a tour date doesn’t sell out, we will propose an alternate date to allow us to time to sell additional tickets and fill all remaining spots. If you are unable to make the tour on the alternate date, we will offer you a refund, minus 6% because we are still charged a credit card fee. Your tickets are transferrable to a third party.
