The Golden Fork MasterChef Competition, formerly known as the Treasure Coast MasterChef Competition, returns in 2027 with a new name and an exciting new connection to the Golden Fork Food & Wine Experience. The Top 4 chefs selected by our panel of expert local chef judges during the January 31st qualifying event will advance to this one-night-only, ticketed culinary finale.

A One-Night-Only MasterChef Dining Experience
Guests enjoy a seated, plated dining experience designed as an elevated, one-night-only pop-up restaurant. The four chefs selected during the Golden Fork Food & Wine Experience will each present a high-end signature entrée, working alongside IRSC culinary and hospitality students to prepare and serve their course to both judges and guests. As each dish is presented, the chef will step into the dining room to introduce their creation and share the inspiration and story behind it. A panel of expert local chef judges will evaluate each course and ultimately crown the 2027 Golden Fork MasterChef Champion. The evening will feature thoughtfully paced service and a refined dining atmosphere, concluding with a non-judged dessert course prepared by the dessert winner selected at the Golden Fork Food & Wine Experience, followed by the presentation of the new Golden Fork MasterChef Champion, hosted by Thomas Miller, founder of The Treasure Coast Foodie.
Culinary Education in Action
A defining element of the Golden Fork MasterChef Competition is our partnership with Indian River State College. Students from IRSC’s Hospitality & Culinary Program will work side-by-side with our finalist chefs and serve as the restaurant staff for the evening, gaining hands-on experience throughout the entire operation—from back-of-house preparation and plating assistance to front-of-house service, timing, and guest experience. This immersive, real-world opportunity places students in a live restaurant environment alongside accomplished local chefs and industry professionals, providing valuable experience that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom setting. A portion of the event proceeds will also be donated to the IRSC Culinary Student Scholarship Fund, helping support the next generation of culinary and hospitality professionals.
Presenting Sponsor Opportunity
The Golden Fork MasterChef Competition is seeking a single Presenting Sponsor to support this one-night-only culinary finale and the educational opportunity it provides for IRSC Hospitality & Culinary Program students. The Presenting Sponsor will provide the food ingredients required to produce the competition, supporting a maximum attendance of up to 100 guests, including:
- Ingredients for each of the four finalist chefs to prepare one plated signature entrée for up to 100 guests
- Ingredients for the dessert course prepared by the dessert winner selected at the Golden Fork Food & Wine Experience
