They specialize in home-cooked breakfasts served all day and delightful lunch options. Their menu features signature dishes like biscuits and gravy alongside their renowned waffles. For lunch, the kountry fried steak or the chili cheeseburger are highly recommended.
Karen and Mark Santangelo, the owners, create a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers are treated like cherished members of the family. The ambiance mirrors that of a cozy kitchen at home, adorned with memorabilia reflecting the town’s spirit and honoring those who have served our country. The wall displays a collection of awards and features nods from celebrities like Joe Del Campo from the TV show Survivor and praises from the US Navy Blue Angels, further establishing this eatery as a local treasure.

Biscuits and Gravy – A beloved southern classic, this dish stands out as one of the restaurant’s top favorites. Picture warm, flaky homemade biscuits generously smothered in a rich and creamy sausage gravy. Kountry Kitchen’s rendition of biscuits and gravy embodies the essence of comfort food at its finest. Whether you opt for a half portion or indulge in the full order, this dish promises to satisfy your cravings for hearty, soul-warming flavors.
Eggs Benedict – Available in half or full portions, this classic dish features a toasted English muffin topped with Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and creamy hollandaise sauce. The flavorful bacon, runny egg yolk, and smooth and creamy hollandaise create a harmonious blend of savory goodness.
Georgian Waffle – A signature dish of the house, this waffle can be customized with either blueberries or peaches and pecans. I opted for the Georgian waffle adorned with pecans, peaches, and a generous dollop of whipped cream. The waffle itself was delightfully fluffy, complemented perfectly by the juicy peaches and the satisfying crunch of the pecans. It’s a delightful combination of textures and flavors that makes each bite a delightful treat.
