Location & Atmosphere

It may look unassuming from the outside, but step inside and you’ll feel right at home. From the open cooking space to the neatly arranged dessert case and wine display, every detail reflects care, tradition, and a genuine love for fresh, homestyle Mediterranean food.

Batata Harrah

First up was the Batata Harrah. These potato cubes are sautéed with garlic, cilantro, lemon, and chili pepper flakes, and honestly, these potatoes alone are worth the visit. Fried to a delicate crisp on the outside while staying perfectly soft inside, they’re dangerously addictive.

Ultimate Cold Mezza

Vibrant, colorful, and generously portioned, the Ultimate Cold Mezza is great for sharing and sampling a little bit of everything. My platter featured hummus, homemade cheese spring rolls, grape leaves, tabouleh, falafel, and homemade meat pies. You can’t have Mediterranean cuisine without hummus, and Lily’s version delivers. Smooth and creamy with roasted depth, it’s finished with olive oil and paprika for an elevated kick. Their tabouleh hits all the marks. Bright, fresh, and aromatic, it’s made with finely chopped parsley, mint, tomatoes, onions, bulgur wheat, and fresh lemon juice for that signature citrusy zing.

Falafel

The Falafel is homemade using a blend of ground fava beans and chickpeas, fried until golden with a fluffy center. The grape leaves, stuffed with seasoned rice, offer a tangy bite that balances the richer dishes on the table. One of the more unique items was the cheese spring roll, filled with mozzarella and feta accented by dried mint. The result is an unexpectedly delicious, sweet-and-savory combination. The meat pies, seasoned with warm Lebanese spices, were even better with a small dab of hot sauce for an extra kick.

Mixed Grill Platter

For my entrée, I ordered the Mixed Grill Platter, a beautifully presented trio of skewers featuring beef tenderloin kabob, chicken tawouk, and beef kafta. Kafta is a traditional Lebanese dish made with seasoned ground beef mixed with herbs and spices, formed into patties, and grilled for deep, savory flavor. The meats were incredibly tender, with the chicken grilled to perfection. Everything paired wonderfully with their homemade garlic sauce and fluffy rice. On the side came sautéed vegetables, including broccoli, zucchini, carrots, peppers, cauliflower, and green beans, all coated in a sweet, barbecue-like sauce.

Baklava

Lily’s serves Baklava sourced from a local bakery, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. This traditional pistachio baklava featured flaky layers of buttery phyllo dough atop a rich nut filling. The pistachio layer carried delicate floral notes, creating a sweet yet balanced bite that was satisfyingly chewy without feeling overly heavy.
