The Most Romantic Restaurants in Indian River County

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought now would be a good time to highlight a few of Indian River County’s most romantic restaurants! Romance is defined as a feeling of excitement, mystery, and an escape from everyday life. As busy as our lives continue to be, dining with the one you love gives you time to sit, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. It’s important to take time for yourselves this Valentine’s Day and catch up on what’s most important.

Now let’s dive right in and see how romantic these places are and what I had to eat!

Armani’s Cucina

Outdoor Covered Patio
Dining Room
Chicken Marsala – Chicken Medallions with Gaga’s Marsala wine sauce, wilted garlic spinach, served over risotto.
Limoncello Tiramisu – Lady fingers are served with a limoncello cream, and topped with lemon zest, chocolate chips, and fresh mint as garnish.

Armani’s Cucina has certainly made a name for themselves in a very short amount of time. They just celebrated their one-year anniversary in November 2021, and they are one of the hottest new editions to Vero’s Italian restaurant scene. Nothing says romance to me than Italian food. I think it’s because of the passion and love that goes into each and every dish. The pasta, chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, and of course the “Sunday Gravy” that has been simmered for hours on end to create a depth of flavor that touches your soul. For the most romantic experience, I recommend you dine al fresco on the patio. With the Italian music playing, the dimly lit string lights, you will feel as though you have been transported to a small corner cafe in Italy.

The Wave Kitchen & Bar at Costa d’Este Resort

Front Entrance
Oceanfront Beachside Dinner for Two
Chorizo Braised Florida Clams – Sofrito, tomato sauce, chili flakes, grilled bread.
Pecan Pie a la Mode

Costa d’Este is one of those resorts, even though it’s in our own backyard, it makes you feel as if you have been transported to a tropical vacation destination. During my most recent visit I got to check out their oceanfront beachside dinner for two. Talk about romantic! They only offer 1 per evening for a more intimate experience. Reservations are a must, as this experience will book up fast! You get a 4-course meal, champagne, and your own personal server to take care of you. After your dinner experience, stay and enjoy the beach fire pits, and if you still have room, grab a s’mores kit and roast a few marshmallows too!

Maison Martinique at The Caribbean Court Boutique Hotel

Restaurant Entrance and Hotel Lobby
Dining Room
Shrimp & Scallops Martinique – Sweet basil, tomato concasse, lemon wine butter, served over toast.
Chocolate Mousse

My next stop takes me to South Vero Beach for a visit to Maison Martinique, which is located inside the Caribbean Court Boutique Hotel. It’s been a few years since I’ve dined here, but I’ve always considered this restaurant to be one of the most romantic places in Vero Beach! With a new chef in the kitchen, I was anxious to stop by and check out their new menu. Chef Daniel Wise is paying homage to chefs and menus of the past, with a focus on French cuisine, with his own personal touches. If you love breakfast as much as I do, then you need to check out the new Creperie! They are open 7 days a week and offer traditional breakfasts along with a wonderful selection of French crepes!

Vero Prime

Front Entrance
Dining Room
Dirty Gulf Oysters – Topped with Creme Fraiche and Lumpfish Caviar
Surf & Turf – Served with Broccoli

If you are looking for one of the best steakhouses in Vero, then look no further than Vero Prime! Located in the heart of downtown Vero Beach, they offer a wonderful selection of dry aged steaks, fresh seafood, and a few Italian dishes from a previous restaurant (Avanzare) that used to occupy the same space. All grilled items are cooked over a real wood fired grill that adds a whole new level of flavor! For the most romantic experience, I recommend a booth near the front window so you can have a great view of the Theater Plaza all lit up at night or sit near the “fireplace” for wonderful ambiance!
