Nick’s Family Restaurant Review – Vero Beach, FL

Hey, it’s Jackson! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nick’s Family Restaurant, nestled in the heart of downtown Vero. What caught my attention were their themed weeknight specials like Wing Wednesday and the indulgent Friday Fish Fry, adding a fun twist to their already diverse menu featuring pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and a tempting array of wings with a variety of sauces.

buffalo wings, french fries, celery, and ranch dressing as prepared by Nick's Family Restaurant in Vero Beach Florida

Buffalo Wings – This American classic that comes with 10 pieces is served with blue cheese or ranch and celery. There is an option of boneless or traditional wings for your liking. You can pick your sauce with a variety of options including Peanut Teriyaki, Buffalo, Jalapeño Garlic, Italian Pain, and more. My sister does not like to go wild with the sauces, so she orders the classic Buffalo. These wings were slightly sweet with a little bit of heat, which made them taste so good.

Pastrami reuben sandwich as prepared by Nick's Family Restaurant in Vero Beach Florida

Pastrami Reuben – This sandwich was one of the Thursday night specials. It’s make with thinly sliced and tender pastrami, flavorful sauerkraut, dill pickles, melted Swiss cheese, and tangy thousand island dressing, all between toasted rye bread slices. The combination of textures and flavors was spot-on, with the cheese adding creaminess and the pickles and sauerkraut providing a delightful tanginess. Overall, it was a satisfying meal that we enjoyed.

Jackson Harbin

Hi, I’m Jackson Harbin and I am obsessed all things food. Not only do I love cooking and baking at home, I enjoy eating out and meeting restaurant owners. Born and raised in Vero Beach, I think this town has some of the best restaurants in the state. I have critiqued food from a kid’s perspective for 4 years and I am excited to expand to The Treasure Coast Foodie. My passion and blogs have been followed on Facebook and Instagram by so many people I can’t even count. I am here to tell you about the best restaurants in my opinion and the ones I have yet to try. I prefer to eat local, however, I am always open to suggestions.
