Outdoor covered dining area at Post & Vine in Downtown Vero Beach, Florida

Located in the heart of downtown Vero Beach on 14th Ave, Post & Vine is operated by brothers Michael and J.D. Juterbock. This location boasts a large open-air dining area and two bars, one of which even has a wood-fired pizza oven! To the side of the dining area is a comfortable lounge section seated beneath a pergola and surrounded by plants and flowers for when you want to find your Zen with a martini in hand.

Now, on to the Food & Drink!

Espresso Martini and Billionaire cocktail at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, served together on a table

JD is the bar manager, and he recommended that I try the following two very popular cocktails starting with Post & Vine’s famous Espresso Martini. Being a fan favorite, and mine too, I had to try it. With real espresso, Kahlua, and vanilla vodka I was in my own little world taking in every sip. I couldn’t wait too long though, because next was the Billionaire made with Old Forester Bourbon, lemon, grenadine, absinthe, and angostura bitters. Sweet, sour, and with a hint of licorice, this is a drink that makes you feel like its namesake.

Crispy Pork Belly appetizer at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, with braised peach purée and bourbon pepper jelly glaze

I started my meal with the Crispy Pork Belly appetizer, a mouthwatering starter comprised of succulent crispy smoked pork belly and a braised peach purée finished with a bourbon pepper jelly glaze, sliced peaches, and microgreens from Zesty Fox Farms. Peach and pork go together so well, but the depth of the peach purée alongside the bourbon glaze makes this an unbelievable sweet & savory bite. This dish was recently featured on Thomas’ foodie show, Holy Grail Eats, so be sure to check that out!

Key West Chili Lime Shrimp at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, served with grilled bread

Next up was the Key West Chili Lime Shrimp. A little reminder of them gem we have down south, this dish is made with wild-caught Key West Pink Shrimp prepared with lime juice, tequila, garlic, Calabrian chili, cilantro, and butter. Paired with grilled bread I simply could not get enough of these flavors. Each bite was like being in the Keys myself, but without the long drive!

The Intenso wood-fired pizza at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, with cream base, pistachios, Pecorino Romano, and red onion

I continued with one of their masterfully crafted pizzas, The Intenso. A wood-fired pie layered with a cream base, pistachios, Pecorino Romano, and thinly shaved red onion. Anyone who knows me well knows that I believe making a pizza is an art form. Each bite hits every note from sweet, savory, to crunchy, and I was having to keep myself from eating the whole thing.

P&V Burger at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickles, and house-made sauce

Moving on to the next plate, I had the pleasure of digging into the P&V Burger — and it did not disappoint. Cooked to a perfect medium, the patty was incredibly juicy and flavorful. It comes stacked with melted American cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, sliced onion, and house-made dill pickles that bring just the right tang. This burger hits all the right notes and is guaranteed to crush any craving.

Chicken Milanese at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, with Pecorino Romano crust, arugula, Meyer lemon vinaigrette, and eggplant caponata

The Chicken Milanese features two tender chicken filets coated in a Pecorino Romano crust, delivering a rich, savory crunch. It’s topped with an arugula garnish lightly dressed in Meyer lemon vinaigrette, adding a bright, citrusy lift to every bite. Served alongside a flavorful eggplant caponata, the dish is rounded out with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy notes, making for a well-composed and satisfying entrée.

Blackened Cobia at Post & Vine in Vero Beach, Florida, served with yellow rice, pigeon peas, pineapple salsa, cilantro, and microgreens

For the final dish, I sampled the Blackened Cobia—an exceptionally moist, flaky filet with a clean, mild flavor and just the right amount of spice from the blackened seasoning. Served over seasoned yellow rice and pigeon peas, it’s topped with a sweet and tangy pineapple salsa, fresh cilantro, and microgreens. Each bite delivers a vibrant mix of savory, sweet, and citrusy notes that instantly transports you to the islands.
