Saigon Sushi: Asian Fusion Restaurant Review in Vero Beach

Last week I had the pleasure of dining at Saigon Sushi in downtown Vero Beach, and it was a delight from start to finish. I had eaten there earlier in the week for lunch with my friend Judy Ho, who is “in the know” when it comes to Sushi and other noodle mainstays. She said this is her regular spot because she trusts the freshness and quality of the food. The server greeted her like an old friend, which I loved.

I returned on a busy Friday night with my husband and friends. Saigon Sushi, located on Main Street in downtown Vero Beach, offers fantastic flavors, attentive service, and reasonable prices that continue to impress customers. Despite the street parking, the restaurant remains a must-try for those seeking an exceptional Asian fusion dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The interior of the restaurant exudes a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, which sets the stage for a pleasurable dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu features an array of traditional Vietnamese and Japanese dishes, including delectable Pho, Thai-style noodle bowls, Duck, Salmon, and other Chef specials, served with soup or salad. Two of us had leftovers to take home, which speaks to the generous portions.

Here’s a peek at what our crew had to eat!

Red Curry Vegetables and Rice from saigon sushi located in vero beach florida

Red Curry Vegetables and Rice – This coconut curry sauce was at the same time sweet and savory, with its pineapples, snow peas, peppers, bamboo shoots, and Thai basil. The rice was sticky, fresh, and delicious. I will order this again!

Seafood Crispy Noodle Combination from saigon sushi located in vero beach florida

Seafood Crispy Noodle Combination – Shrimp, scallops, calamari, and vegetables were served over a bed of crispy egg noodles with a subtle sauce that was both sweet and savory. The contrast between the crispy noodles and the tender seafood made the dish a delight.

Pad Woon Sen with Pork – A savory and substantial Thai dish featuring delicate glass noodles, tender pork, and fresh vegetables, all stir-fried together with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce for a burst of flavor.

Broccoli Lovers dish from saigon sushi located in vero beach florida

Broccoli Lovers – For a dish as usually mundane as beef and broccoli, this dish was divine. The sauce was delicate and packed with flavor, adding unexpected nuance and a distinctively Thai palate to the dish. Equally pleasing is that the dish is Keto-friendly! What could be better?
