Sebastian Sandwich Shack – Restaurant Review 2024
Hey there, it’s Jackson Harbin! I had the pleasure of checking out a local favorite in Sebastian, FL known as the Sebastian Sandwich Shack. With 15 years under their belt, this spot is all about salads, sandwiches, and burgers, each dish carrying a fun and unique twist. What caught my eye? Their legendary MOAB (Mother of All Burgers) burger piled high with french fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. They also have another large sandwich called the FOAP (Father of All Phillies), check out Thomas’s previous review to see this monster sandwich! Oh, and don’t miss out on their homemade desserts too! The owner, Niki Singley, was once the head waitress at the Shack, now as the owner she warmly welcomes guests who’ve become regulars over the years.
Let’s dive into what this place has cooking!
The Philly Cheese Steak is a true taste of Philadelphia, featuring tender thinly sliced steak, gooey provolone cheese, and caramelized onions all nestled in a perfectly toasted hoagie roll. The cheese melts beautifully into the savory steak, while the crunchy bread adds a satisfying texture. Each bite balances sweet caramelized onions with the rich flavors of the meat and cheese, making it a standout choice.
The Cuban Sandwich is a Florida specialty not to be missed. Packed with house-made roasted pork, savory ham, melted Swiss cheese, tangy pickles, and zesty mustard, all nestled between crispy, golden-brown Cuban bread. The combination of juicy roasted pork and salty ham adds layers of flavor, complemented by creamy Swiss cheese and sharp mustard. Each bite offers a delightful contrast of tangy pickles and crispy bread, making this sandwich a must-try for any visit.
The M.O.A.B. (Mother Of All Burgers) is their signature burger creation, packing a multitude of flavors into one epic burger. Loaded with french fries, onion rings, crispy bacon, and gooey mozzarella sticks, it’s also stacked with onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and jalapeños. The tender, juicy beef forms a perfect base for this explosion of toppings, each one adding a fresh, mouthwatering dimension to every bite. If you’re up for a flavor-packed adventure, this burger is a must-try.
The Lemon Blueberry Cake is just one of their homemade desserts, and made even more special with its festive 4th of July decoration. Adorned with delicious buttercream frosting and topped with strawberries, this lemon cake bursts with the flavors of fresh blueberries, doubling down on fruity goodness. The cake itself strikes a perfect balance of sweet and tangy, making it an ideal summer dessert that’s as refreshing as it is delicious.
