Sunday’s Best Kitchen Gadget Deals – May 17th

While I normally focus on local restaurant reviews for my blog posts, the current situation we all have been put into by Covid-19 has forced us to cook at home now more than ever. A lot of people that I’ve talked to about dining out are still not that comfortable with it yet, so I believe a lot of people will still be cooking at home or at the very least getting take-out in a watch and wait to see what happens scenario.

As we find and try new recipes from the internet to keep us from getting to bored with the same food over and over again, we find that our kitchens may not be that well equipped with all the gadgets and gizmos needed to create these new recipes. I for one LOVE kitchen gadgets and have quite a few of them, but I’m always on the lookout for the next latest and greatest gadget to add to my collection. I also like a good bargain too and will go to great lengths to get them as cheaply as possible too!

My purpose with this new Lifestyle Blog series is to help you find some great deals on kitchen gadgets so you can always be prepared for those new recipes you’ve been dying to try out!

The Best Kitchen Gadget Deals for Sunday, May 17th

While I do drink coffee on a daily basis (more for the caffeine) , I wouldn’t consider myself a coffee connoisseur by any means. I’ve heard that these old school percolators make a fabulous cup of coffee. If you’ve been wanting to try one, today is the day to pick one up at a 45% discount!

With the current situation around the world, I’m sure more people are drinking wine to help them stay sane! Why not grab another wine bottle opener at a 45% off discount for another drawer, the living room, the bedroom, because you never know when you might need one and don’t feel like going all the way into the kitchen to get it! 😉

While these may seem expensive for only a 5 piece kitchen tool set, Wusthof is the Ferrari of kitchen gadget makers in the world, and today these are an impressive 60% off which doesn’t happen that often.

An 8 in skillet is an in-between size that does not normally come with a basic cookware set, so you have to purchase them separate. With the nice high sides to keep the food inside and non-stick coating, it’s a breeze to clean up.

Cast iron pans are usually expensive to get a good one, but they are usually with you for life. Most get passed down from generation to generation. My wife has her mother’s and I’m sure they probably came from her grandmother too. Today you can get a future family heirloom for 57% off!

One thing that drives me insane about pan frying is the mess that it makes. The grease gets all over the stove and just makes a big mess. These splatter screens are great to help keep the mess localized and most of it still in the pan. Pick one up today at a 42% discount and save yourself some clean up time!

From making soups & stews, to roasting large cuts of meats, dutch ovens are so versatile and today you can save 45% with free shipping included!

I know what you’re thinking, why would I need a rice cooker, I have a pot and a stove. I once thought that too until I bought one (not this one) a while ago and tried it. These are perfect for those that like to set it and forget it. Add your rice, water, set the timer, and it takes care of the rest. The good thing about this one is that it does more than just make rice. Snag one today for 25% off!

Last item up on today’s article but certainly not least, is an electric knife sharpener. One of the most dangerous tools in your kitchen is a dull knife. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but a dull knife is more likely to slip and cut something you’re not supposed to. Grab one today for 47% off, your fingers will thank me later!

That’s it for this week. If you like this new blog post series, sound off in the comments below and let me know!
