Swift Grill – Food Review

I just recently visited Swift Grill in Fort Pierce with my mom sister, and cousin. Swift Grill is a new restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean style food. The owner, Vlad Bradescu, was very friendly and enthusiastic. They let us try a few different items that were very mouthwatering. They are now open for delivery and have changed their hours till midnight so people can try unique Mediterranean food any time. We tried 2 appetizers, a gyro, sushi roll, and 2 desserts. Let’s dive in to see what we had for lunch.

We shared a hearty portion of Shawarma fries with our choice of chicken. The fries and the toppings went perfect with the seasoned chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy. The toppings which include tomatoes, pickles, onions, and regular or spicy garlic sauce.

My sister got the swift roll which is one of their main specials on their menu. She said it was flavorful and crunchy and she also said that it was creamy and very delicious. She said it was very presentable as you will see in the picture above.

The dish that I had was their beef/lamb gyro. The combination of beef and lamb was generously seasoned with salt, herbs, and spices it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth.  The garlic sauce was deliciously light and refreshing.  The rest of the toppings enhanced the sandwich to make it more amazing.

One of the desserts I got to try was the chocolate baklava. It was a flaky, nut-filled, and baked to perfection. It also had a subtle honey sweetened flavor which tasted amazing. The other dessert I tried was the brownie Carmel cheesecake. It was fudgy and had a chocolate drizzle on it. It was also very rich and dense. This place is without a doubt one of the best Mediterranean restaurants on the Treasure Coast!

Jackson Harbin

Hi, I’m Jackson Harbin and I am obsessed all things food. Not only do I love cooking and baking at home, I enjoy eating out and meeting restaurant owners. Born and raised in Vero Beach, I think this town has some of the best restaurants in the state. I have critiqued food from a kid’s perspective for 4 years and I am excited to expand to The Treasure Coast Foodie. My passion and blogs have been followed on Facebook and Instagram by so many people I can’t even count. I am here to tell you about the best restaurants in my opinion and the ones I have yet to try. I prefer to eat local, however, I am always open to suggestions.
