I had the pleasure of attend the Talbott Wine Dinner on Tuesday, July 28th at Heaton’s Vero Beach. Sous Chef Cody Page crafted a fabulous 5 course menu paired with wines from the Talbott Winery. Jessica Petruzzelli from E&J Gallo Winery was there representing the vineyard and gave us a history lesson about the winery and talked about the finer details of each wine throughout the experience. The dinner was served on the brand new outdoor covered patio at Heaton’s which has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
I’ve been looking forward to finally getting a chance to dine on the new patio at Heaton’s and it did not disappoint. With sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, motorized roof slats that automatically close when rain is detected, and only steps away from the sand, this in my opinion is the BEST outdoor dining experience anywhere in Vero. As memorable as the view was, I won’t soon forget these fabulous dishes served to us either. Their culinary team keeps stepping up and hitting home runs with each dish that I’ve tasted. With limited upcoming events due to Covid-19, these dinners tend to sell out quickly, so if you are interested in attending one in the near future, be sure to purchase your tickets early so you don’t miss out!
