I’ve had the pleasure of tasting tacos all over this county, and what I’ve found is a lineup of standout spots that truly deliver, each bringing something unique to the table. El Sid and Palos Tacos are 2 of my favorites in the area. That coconut scallop taco from Chive looks delicious. I’ll have to try that soon. Though my favorite “street taco” is al pastor, I came across a cabeza taco from a taco truck located at South County Discount Beverage 573 27th Ave SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968. I think it’s called Taco Loco. Anyway, as simple as this taco was, the cabeza meat was perfectly cooked; succulent with a good balance of meat to fat. It’s essentially a really well executed confit. And since it’s been consistently solid quality the 3 other times I’ve ordered it, I figure it’s worth passing it along.
