I recently visited Cafe 66 for a food review and an interview with the Inside Track Almanac<\/a> publisher, Kim Piston. She asked me a bunch of questions about how I became so interested in food while we were dining and I was nervous, but it all worked out perfect. She plans to publish the article in her summer edition, which will be out in June. We tried 3 different appetizers and desserts. This spot has both American and Southern specialties. The owners are very nice and helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Miller, The Treasure Coast Foodie invited me to attend the Golden Fork Awards earlier this year. He gave me a trophy to award to my favorite dish of the night, and I picked Cafe 66, with their famous ribs and coleslaw!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Loaded Nachos: <\/strong> Pork with cheese, cheese sauce, jalapenos, and Pico salsa. Served with sour cream, homemade salsa Verde, and shredded lettuce. It was a very large portion, overflowing on the plate and fresh. Life is better with nachos.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fried Okra:<\/strong> These delectable little okra nuggets hit the spot! Made with a light flour batter\u2026seasoned just right and fried to perfection. Don\u2019t forget to eat your veggies!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fried Ribs:<\/strong> This appetizer had a nice smokiness and a perfect sauce-to-meat ratio. Barbeque is happiness!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Banana Pudding Pie (left):<\/strong> A flaky pie crust filled with creamy vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and vanilla wafers, topped with whipped cream. Hands down my favorite!
Raspberry Donut Cheesecake (center): <\/strong>Creamy raspberry and donut-flavored cheesecake sits on a graham cracker crust, topped with raspberry filling, crumbled donuts, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Delicious!
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pie (right):<\/strong> A scrumptious combination of rich and creamy peanut butter filled with chocolate chips. Topped with a dollop of whipped cream, more chocolate chips, and golden cookie crumble.
Always save room for dessert!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
