With summer in full swing here in Florida, there is no better way to cool off than with an ice cream treat! Having spent most of my life in the Midwest, we would only look forward to three of the five seasons. What’s the fifth season you ask? In addition to the normal changing of the seasons, there was one more that only northerners will understand, and that is the “Ice Cream” season. If you have lived in the south your entire life, you may be asking yourself what that is. As winter sets in, most of the ice cream shops close due to decreased demand. We would always count the days until “season” kicked in, usually the first part of March when we could get that first ice cream cone or sundae of the season. Living in Florida we don’t experience the “ice cream” season, so thankfully we get to enjoy it year-round.

Now let’s dive right in and see all the amazing ice cream treats I tasted over the past few weeks while creating this article!
