Competitive eater, Randy Santel (@randysantel) has been touring the east coast of Florida since the beginning of February. I’m a big fan of his YouTube channel, so I reached out to him to see if he would consider coming to Vero Beach and do a few food challenges! After a few discussions with his tour manager, I was successful in my quest to have him stop by and visit a few of our local restaurants!
For those of you who are not familiar with him or what he does, Randy is a competitive eater and takes on large quantity food challenges. He has traveled the world seeking out these challenges at many different restaurants. He is the current world record holder for the most competition wins at just over 933! He currently has over 1.27 million subscribers on YouTube and over 1.4 million followers on Facebook!
The young lady in the photo with him is his girlfriend, her name is Katina. She is also a competitive eater (@katinaeatskilos) and is currently on tour with him!
