We hosted our very first Treasure Coast MasterChef Competition at the
Elks Lodge in Vero Beach on Tue, Feb 22nd, 2022! It’s an event that highlights some of the Best Chefs on the Treasure Coast! The chefs competing were chosen by a panel of judges at The Golden Fork Awards ceremony that took place on Tuesday, Feb 8th, 2022. Each chef presented a dish for our judges to taste, and the Top 4 moved on to compete. At the MasterChef event, each chef created a “MasterChef” worthy dish for our guests and our judges to taste and vote for their favorite! A final dessert course and the table centerpieces were provided by Tara’s Treats, a new local bakery in Vero Beach. At the end of the evening, we presented our winners with a Judge’s Choice and a People’s Choice trophies at the awards ceremony!
I’d like to personally say THANK YOU to our event sponsors, without them, events like this are not possible!

La Famigiia e Tutto! translates in Italian to “Family Is Everything!” I certainly got the sense that it is a true statement last night at the Treasure Coast Foodie event at Armani’s Cucina in downtown Vero Beach. The Foodie meetup group was 40 members strong, and we settled in to order drinks from their extensive […]
I always get excited when I hear about new restaurants opening in Indian River County! New mom & pop restaurants are the lifeblood of our local economy, and a lot, if not all of that money ends up staying in our community. By dining at the large national chains, you are likely helping a CEO […]
Join me for this new video series where I sit down with local chefs from Indian River County Florida and ask them my Top “ATE” Questions to learn more about them! In this episode, we sit down with my 2021 Golden Fork Awards Chef of the Year, Louis Kolbauer! Click the play button below to […]
I’ve been a resident of Indian River County for almost 8 years now, and this was my first time out on a boat in the Indian River Lagoon. I’ve always admired the views from the bridges and docks, but never from a boat, so I was really looking forward to this experience and a chance […]
I can’t believe another year is in the books and it’s time to select the best of what I tasted over the past year. The end of 2021 also marks my Six-Year Anniversary since I began this journey to find the best dishes that Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast has to offer. Last year […]
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought now would be a good time to highlight a few of Indian River County’s most romantic restaurants! Romance is defined as a feeling of excitement, mystery, and an escape from everyday life. As busy as our lives continue to be, dining with the one you love […]
I’ll admit it, I’m not a big beer drinker, but when I do indulge, I prefer local craft beers. I’ve definitely come a long way with my knowledge over the past several years, and one thing that surprised me is that I actually prefer stouts and porters over light beers. That is the direct opposite […]
I’m continuing my “Foodie Day Trip” article series and this time I’m heading to Sebastian Florida! In my first article, I started in the Melbourne & Palm Bay areas, and I’m eating my way down the Treasure Coast! In case you missed the last article, CLICK HERE to catch up on the series. I live […]
