Little Jim Bait & Tackle Food Review

I recently visited one of my favorite waterfront restaurants in Fort Pierce, Little Jim’s Bait and Tackle! They have a variety of ways to get there, by car, boat, kayak, and paddle boarding. They also have been a bait & tackle shop since before World War 2. Little Jim’s opened their restaurant a few years ago to accompany their outdoor bar and it does not disappoint! Although they have a small menu, their food is delicious with flavor in every bite!

Dining Room & Bar

Blackened Mahi Tacos – 2 flour tortillas with shredded cabbage, cilantro, tomato, pickled jalapeños, and cilantro – lime sauce. My sister had these and said they were juicy and seasoned with just the right amount of blackened spices.

BBQ Mojo Pork Sandwich – Served on a toasted roll with caramelized onions and American cheese. I had the Mojo pork sandwich, it was smoky, and the BBQ sauce was dynamite!

Cuban sandwich – Mojo pork, sliced ham, pickles, mayo, mustard, and Swiss cheese was served on toasted Cuban bread. My sister and I shared the sandwich and this is a MUST HAVE if you love Cuban sandwiches!

This restaurant, bait and tackle shop is everybody’s favorite for locals and tourists alike, so I highly recommend you stop by and check it out for yourself!

Jackson Harbin

Hi, I’m Jackson Harbin and I am obsessed all things food. Not only do I love cooking and baking at home, I enjoy eating out and meeting restaurant owners. Born and raised in Vero Beach, I think this town has some of the best restaurants in the state. I have critiqued food from a kid’s perspective for 4 years and I am excited to expand to The Treasure Coast Foodie. My passion and blogs have been followed on Facebook and Instagram by so many people I can’t even count. I am here to tell you about the best restaurants in my opinion and the ones I have yet to try. I prefer to eat local, however, I am always open to suggestions.
