Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Review – Fort Pierce, Fl
I recently visited this Italian restaurant with my family, and as soon as I walked in, there was the chef right in front of us, cooking up a storm! Everything they serve is homemade, including their delicious marinara sauce. The place is small and cozy, with beautiful pictures on the walls that you can check out as you head to your table. We decided to try all our favorite Italian dishes, and we loved every bite. Even Fort Pierce Mayor Linda Hudson raves about their Margherita pizza, calling it “to die for” and “dynamite.” The owner and chef, Lorenzo Romano, creates everything from scratch, giving us a taste of Italy right here in Fort Pierce, Florida!

Mozzarella Wedges – We started with this shareable appetizer and it was super cheesy! The marinara sauce that you dip it in is fresh and delicious. This sauce is perfect because you can taste everything in it, including the garlic, onion, tomatoes, and seasonings. It was topped with more cheese, pepperoncini, and was garnished with parsley. The cheese was fried perfectly and went great with the marinara sauce.
Chicken Parmesan Hero – This Italian sandwich was massive! The chicken cutlets were juicy, and the marinara sauce was super fresh and bursting with flavor. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the bread had that nice toasty crunch. They even added some extra cheese and parsley on top of the sub. It was enough for dinner that night and lunch the next day!
Lasagna – This dish is my grandma’s favorite Italian dinner. She absolutely loved it and had a lot to say about it. The lasagna had three layers of pasta with beef, creamy ricotta, mozzarella, romano, and layered with a bolognese sauce. She said it was absolutely delicious!
Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza – This is my dad’s ultimate go-to, his top two favorite toppings combined. The crust was nice and crispy, and the cheese was melted to pure perfection. You’ve got loads of choices for pizza toppings, but when it’s my dad’s call, it’s always sausage and pepperoni!
