The Lemon Tree Restaurant Review – Vero Beach, Florida

If you have ever heard of or have been to the Lemon Tree, you know that it is the local’s favorite spot for breakfast. This small-town favorite is famous for its lemon blueberry pancakes and the complimentary muffins you get when you sit down at your table. They also serve traditional breakfasts like biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash. When you walk in, you will be greeted by friendly staff who are waiting to take you to your seat. The atmosphere is very quaint and small. The cool part about this hidden brunch place is that it is located directly across the beach so you can grab your pancakes and go to the beach for some relaxation. You know it’s the Lemon Tree when you see the hidden yellow sign and the refreshing lemon water.

Let’s see what I had to eat at this oceanside eatery!

Bite sized blueberries muffins served on a yellow plate at The Lemon Tree in Vero Beach Florida

Complimentary Blueberry Muffins – This snack-size appetizer is a perfect way to start your weekend. Depending on how many people are at your table, is how many of these tiny treats you will receive when you are seated. The muffin was doughy and the blueberries were fresh and juicy.

Pumpkin Pancakes – These specialty pancakes are only available in the fall and only for a limited time. You can either get one, two, or three pancakes. They are cinnamon, fluffy, and topped with walnuts. It is also topped with cinnamon whipped cream and served with a side of warm maple syrup.

Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, home fries as prepared at The Lemon Tree in Vero Beach Florida

Biscuits and Gravy – This southern staple is my mom’s favorite breakfast. The biscuits were fluffy, the gravy was a little spicy, and it was very creamy. These biscuits and gravy just melted in your mouth and they were so good.

Jackson Harbin

Hi, I’m Jackson Harbin and I am obsessed all things food. Not only do I love cooking and baking at home, I enjoy eating out and meeting restaurant owners. Born and raised in Vero Beach, I think this town has some of the best restaurants in the state. I have critiqued food from a kid’s perspective for 4 years and I am excited to expand to The Treasure Coast Foodie. My passion and blogs have been followed on Facebook and Instagram by so many people I can’t even count. I am here to tell you about the best restaurants in my opinion and the ones I have yet to try. I prefer to eat local, however, I am always open to suggestions.
