Twisted Pickle Deli – Restaurant Review

The Twisted Pickle Deli has had a tough year. First the pandemic hits, then the unthinkable happens, a fire breaks out in their business that destroys the entire building. Luckily, no one was injured in the fire since it happened afterhours, but nonetheless, it was a total loss. Owner, Kim Phillips opened the Pickle just about 8 years ago and has seen much success at the original location. She was more determined than ever to bring the Pickle back and started looking to relocate. I’ve been anxiously waiting for them to reopen so I can go check it out and finally get a chance to try their food.

Previously located on US Hwy 1 just south of 510, they found a new place not that far away from their old one. The new space, previously occupied by The Marketplace Bulk Food & More, is just a little bit north of 510 near Rock City Gardens. It offers 1,200 sq ft, which is more than double what they previously had. Due to the pandemic, they are currently only licensed for take out, but with the Governor’s recent orders to allow 100% capacity, they are working to change that and add tables for dine in very soon! With quite a large menu that include salads and hot & cold subs, they use only the finest meats from Thumann’s Deli based out of New Jersey, and the bread is from Cusano’s Bakery in Coconut Creek, FL. Everything I tasted was so fresh and delicious, I can’t wait to stop by again to try a few more items!

Now let’s jump right in and see what this place has to offer and what I had to eat!
